Meeting rooms are available for hire at the centre. These are suitable for up to 40 people (theatre style) and can be laid out to suit your needs.
Each of the meeting rooms now have hearing loop.
We also have a boardroom available for hire, suitable for 8-10 people.
All rooms have access for laptops and power point for presentations and displays. Internet access is also available on request.

As the Director of Avantages, I have used the facilities of the John Pounds Centre throughout the Summer for my groups of young Students visiting Portsmouth from France, Spain & Italy.
Teachers, Leaders & Students were delighted with the facilities provided and with the services rendered on site. We particularly appreciated having the cafeteria where Teachers & Leaders could relax and meet whilst Students were having their lessons. Also one of our groups staying for three weeks had their lunch every day in the cafeteria, making it good value and very convenient.
The centre is very well designed with good classrooms and very well-laid out indoor & outdoor space for users to enjoy ; it is very conveniently located within walking distance to the city centre and to Gunwharf.
