Centre Update FROM SATURDAY 5 DECEMBER: Thank you for your patience. The team is very pleased to inform you that the Centre will open for those activities permitted under Tier 2 restrictions from Saturday 5 December. We have put some very important procedures in place and tightened some further to ensure we adhere to the Tier 2 emphasis on non-mixing of households and social distancing. We would appreciate you considering all of the following points before coming to the centre so you are fully aware of what to expect. SYMPTOMS If you are feeling or showing any of the Covid-19 symptoms listed below you should not come to the centre. Please wear a FACE COVERING all the time you are in the centre your face covering will need to cover your mouth & nose at all times. On arrival you will be asked to WASH YOUR HANDS at the designated hand wash stations. HAND WASH STATIONS are located around the centre & these should be used at regular intervals. You will be expected to follow the centre’s ONE WAY SYSTEM at all times BOOKING - we ask you to attend the Centre at your allotted time & not before to prevent queuing. FITNESS SUITE 45 minute sessions in the fitness suite must be booked & paid for in advance. These bookings are non-transferable or refundable. Sessions start 15 minutes past each hour on a daily basis starting at 08:15 and ending at 18:15/ 8.45am-11.45am on Saturdays. There are no changing or shower facilities available. Please bring your own water bottle. Multiple cleaning products will be available & it’s very important members look after each other by cleaning down equipment after use. CLASSES - Classes must be booked & paid for in advance. These bookings are non-transferable or refundable. To prevent queues at reception please do not arrive early, you will not be permitted entry until your allotted time. There are no changing or shower facilities available. Members should arrive ready to train & go home to shower. The hall floor will be marked & we will ask you to remain in your DESIGNATED AREA to maintain social distancing. Please bring your own water bottle & hand weights if you so wish. Please keep these items with you in your designated area. There will be no equipment available for classes, the exception is Pilates & Yoga mats, though we would encourage you to bring & use your own wherever possible. Multiple cleaning products will be available and it’s very important members look after each other by cleaning down their space after use. You must book a class by 9am on the day of the class otherwise you will not be permitted to enter the class. CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS - We strongly encourage the use of contactless payment where ever possible. SUBSCRIPTIONS - The reception team are ready to reactivate your subscription on your first visit. COVID-19 POLICY AND PROCEDURE To protect others, do not come to the centre if you are showing the symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19): A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature) A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual) A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal Or if you have been classed as extremely vulnerable by the government or have a health condition as laid out in the following Government guidance. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/people-at-higher-risk/whos-at-higher-risk-from-coronavirus/ And Get a test to check if you have coronavirus & stay at home until you get your result.
