• 2 tsp tikka paste
  • 2 tbsp low fat yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste/puree
  • 1-2tsp vegetable oil
  • Chilli powder (to individual taste)
  • 250g cubed chicken

To Serve

  • 2 wholemeal pitta breads
  • Shredded lettuce
  • 1/3 cucumber, cut into strips
  • 2 fresh tomatoes, diced


  1. Put tikka paste, yoghurt, tomato puree, oil and chilli in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Stir in the chicken and leave to marinade for as long as possible.
  3. Either cook the chicken on a griddle, or stir fry in a non-stick pan till cooked and serve stuffed in pitta bread with lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes.
